Vigil Honor

The Vigil Honor is the highest honor that a Lodge can bestow upon a member. It dates back to 1915 when our founder, Dr. E. Urner Goodman, became the first Vigil Honor Member. It is a high mark of distinction and recognition reserved for those Arrowmen who, by reason of exceptional service, personal effort, and unselfish interest, have made distinguished contributions beyond the immediate responsibilities of their position or office to one or more of the following: their lodge, the Order of the Arrow, Scouting or their Scout Camp. Patch Auction

Dear Brother of Sasquesahanough Lodge, We certainly hope that you and your family will join the Lodge this year at its annual Lodge Banquet being held on Saturday evening, January 3, 2015. NOAC Registration Update – Notice to Contingents

National OA had planned on re-opening the registration site on October 1, 2014, to allow contingents (who already registered) to add additional participants. Due to an overwhelming demand to attend the Centennial Celebration, National has unfortunately reached their capacity to accept any additions to contingent registrations at this time. Arrowman Service Award

Starting today on the 99th anniversary of the Order of the Arrow’s founding, registered members in good standing with the BSA, their local council and their Order of the Arrow lodge will be able to commemorate our organization’s centennial by working to complete the Arrowman Service Award. This award, which some are referring to as “the sash patch,” will be recognized as one of the few patches that have ever been approved by the national Order of the Arrow committee to be worn on an OA sash.
