The Great Sherman’s Creek Rendezvous at Hidden Valley Scout Reservation is October 12 -14, 2012!
Are you planning on attending the Great Rendezvous? The OA is looking for Lodge members to help with this year’s The Great Sherman’s Creek Rendezvous. We need your help with a variety of tasks – both big and small – that add up to a great event. You can be a big part of the success of the Great Rendezvous. Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturing Scouts are all part of the Great Rendezvous. You can represent the OA service at its finest. There are things to do before, during and after the program, so anything do to help will be appreciated!

The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is being held at Michigan State University this summer. To help fund the cost of sending a contingent to represent our lodge at NOAC we will be selling 2012 NOAC patches where the majority of the profit will go toward reducing the cost for contingent members to attend NOAC.

The 2012 Spring Fellowship is March 9 – 11, at Hidden Valley Scout Reservation. The Lodge Fellowship Weekend is a weekend filled with fun. Through fellowship, arrowmen have the opportunity to grow as brothers in the Order of the Arrow. During the fellowship weekend, arrowmen will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, games and seminars. Specific details on the activities to be held will be available a few weeks before the event. Slots for the Order of the Arrow’s Wilderness Voyage and Canadian Odyssey Program at Northern Tier National High Adventure Base are still available for this summer. The program is open to any arrowmen ages 16-20, and it consists of a two-week excursion into the pristine wilderness area in northern Minnesota’s and southern Ontario’s boundary waters lakes region. Participants go through a life-changing experience that challenges them physically, mentally and spiritually in pursuit of a more comprehensive understanding of Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Service.

The 2012 National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) will be one of your most memorable Scouting experiences. NOAC 2012 will be held at Michigan State University from July 30 through August 4, 2012 and is projected to be one of the largest in the Order’s history with more than 8,000 Arrowmen in attendance.
