NOAC Registration Update – Notice to Contingents

National OA had planned on re-opening the registration site on October 1, 2014, to allow contingents (who already registered) to add additional participants. Due to an overwhelming demand to attend the Centennial Celebration, National has unfortunately reached their capacity to accept any additions to contingent registrations at this time. Arrowman Service Award

Starting today on the 99th anniversary of the Order of the Arrow’s founding, registered members in good standing with the BSA, their local council and their Order of the Arrow lodge will be able to commemorate our organization’s centennial by working to complete the Arrowman Service Award. This award, which some are referring to as “the sash patch,” will be recognized as one of the few patches that have ever been approved by the national Order of the Arrow committee to be worn on an OA sash. NOAC 2015 Fundraising

Fellow OA Brothers, a once in a lifetime opportunity awaits you at the National Order of the Arrow Conference, being held at Michigan State University, August 3-8, 2015. Service to others is the mark of an Arrowman, and this conference will mark the 100th Anniversary of the OA, started by E. Erner Goodman in 1915. Various fund raisers will be planned within the next year to assist the lodge with all who attend this outstanding event and will follow the service to other’s concept. 2014 Spring Fellowship Recap

Well if you didn’t attend this western show down then you missed a lot of fun & great food. There were many members wanted for having too much fun with a high bounty on their head. Many enjoyed the western fellowship. Members were corralled and branded. The branding crew had too much fun. Of course we always have some service to work up that appetite. Some members were jailed for having fun. Lodge scholarships benefited from the bond to release those cranky cowboys. And then was the FOOD! Beef done on a pit. Annual Dinner Recap

The Lodge Leadership would like to thank all Brothers and their guests who braved the weather and attended the Annual Lodge Banquet recently at the beautiful Susquehanna Club in New Cumberland, Pa.  Once again, the menu and food (including the Club’s signature apple pie) was excellent and if anyone left hungry, they had no one to blame but themselves!
