The York Service Center is located at 2139 White Street in West York and was dedicated October 26, 1996 as the administrative headquarters for the former York-Adams Area Council. It houses a portion of the council’s professional and administrative staff, as well as meeting facilities.
The York Service Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and closed on Holidays.

The York Scout Shop, operated by the BSA’s Supply Group, is also located in the York Service Center and carries the full line of BSA supply merchandise, uniforms, literature and recognitions. Catalog and custom-design orders are also available through the York Scout Shop.
The York Scout Shop is open weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM, with extended hours on Wednesday evenings until 7 PM, and from 9 AM until 3 PM on Saturdays. The York Scout Shop is closed on Sundays and Holidays.

Whenever the York Scout Shop is open outside of the York Service Center’s normal operating hours, paperwork for the council (such as event or camp payments, membership applications, etc.) can be dropped off in the Scout Shop, but Scout Shop employees are not able provide receipts or perform other transactions on the council’s behalf. There is also a drop box available in the lobby where items for the council can be dropped off.
