Scouters with MyScouting accounts will be able to review their entire training record, including youth protection, through the “Training Validation” tab on the MyScouting website. Previously, a volunteer was only able to view their records for courses taken online (but not classes participated with in-person).

Additionally, unit leaders can review the training records for all adults in their unit through the “Training Validation” tab. To do this, the unit leader will need the membership ID number for Scouters that he/she want to look up. This number is available on BSA membership cards or on rechartering information.

Any discrepancies can be reported to your district executive for updating. In most cases, requests should be accompanied by a training card for the missing course.
