When summer camp season ends at Camp Tuckahoe, the fun and Scouting adventure continues all year long!  Tuckahoe is blessed with outstanding facilities that will provide a comfortable home-away-from-home in fall, winter and spring.

Camp Tuckahoe is home to eight state-of-the-art, spacious lodges. Four of our cabins can accommodate up to 40 persons for sleeping, with smaller capacity facilities also available for units of all sizes.  Two of our cabins, the Frontier Fort and Medieval Castle, are designed especially for Cub Scout packs to utilize with indoor plumbing, heat, restrooms and showers.

Camp Tuckahoe is also an extremely popular spot to stay for Scouting groups that are visiting the south-central Pennsylvania area to tour the Gettysburg National Military Park or other local attractions. Year-round reservations are available almost every weekend (and the days in between) from the time Summer Camp closes in mid-August until the beginning of June when Summer Camp reopens.Tuckahoe-Cedar-in-snow-with-frame

A full-time Camp Ranger lives at the camp and is assisted on the weekends by several trained members of the Council’s Campmaster Corps, whose primary responsibilities are to assist campers with programs, to ensure that the facilities are functioning as intended, and to handle any emergencies which might arise.
