It’s never too early for troops to begin planning for next year’s summer camp experience. Boy Scouts troops (both New Birth of Freedom and out-of-council troops are welcome) interested in finding out more about attending Scouts BSA summer camp at Camp Tuckahoe in 2019 are invited to attend a special information session on Saturday, September 22 at Tuckahoe (400 Tuckahoe Road, Dillsburg, PA).
We’re inviting any interested troops to stop by Tuckahoe that day to meet some of the staff and learn about plans for 2019 at Tuckahoe, including a new program area and new merit badges such as Robotics, Electricity and Scouting Heritage. We’re also opening up our brand-new new zip-line across Memory Lake that day to let folks experience the fun and excitement for themselves. Each troop is limited to two leaders and two youth (preferably junior leaders) attending that day.
Lunch will be provided at 12 noon and troops can reserve morning or afternoon time slots for their zip-line rides. Troops do need to pre-register for this event at http://tiny.cc/2019info.
NOTE: Everyone who is using the zip-line that day must bring Part A & B of the BSA Health & Medical Record.
Reserve your spots today!
A similar information session for troops interested in learning more about attending summer camp at Hidden Valley in 2019 is also being planned, so stayed tuned for that.
