Scouting Groups Invited to Participate in Harrisburg Holiday Parade

The City of Harrisburg will be holding the annual Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 23 at 12 pm in Downtown Harrisburg and would love to have local Scouting groups join us. This year’s parade theme is “Winter Wonderland ❄️.” All prospective parade participants are strongly encouraged to have a winter/holiday theme with their entry for the enjoyment of the crowd (ex. vehicle decorated with snowflakes, participants wearing holiday colors, etc). Preference may be given to groups exemplifying the winter/holiday theme as space becomes more limited. Participants may also enter the “Best in Theme” contest for the chance to win a trophy. Please see the judging rubric for this contest.

If you are interested in participating in the parade, please complete the online application at the link below. We hope you are able to join us in welcoming 10,000 attendees from Harrisburg and the surrounding communities!

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE OCTOBER 18https://forms.gle/veTJyFhhR1gQaX486
