Eagle Scout Extensions for Scouts BSA

As we head into the fall, Scouts BSA leaders need to make sure new Scouts BSA Scouts that are between ages 16 and 18 take the appropriate steps to apply for an Eagle extension. As a reminder, Scoutmasters, Committee Chairman, Charter Organization Representatives, and Unit Advancement Chairman play an important part in the extension request.  If a youth in your unit who is age 16 to 18 and joined 2/1/19-12/13/19 wishes to request an extension, you must process it through the Member Manager section of my.scouting.org.  The Scout must make the request for an extension to you by December 31, 2019.

The exact steps for this process can be found here.  A step-by-step guide with images on how to make the adjustment on my.scouting.org can be found at How to Request an Eagle Extension.
