July 11 Special Hidden Valley Program Day

For those Units and Families camping on Saturday,  July 11 is a Special Hidden Valley Program Day

Shooting Sports is one of the most popular activities at camp.  The Council Shooting Sports Committee has been hard at work planning a day of fun range activities while maintaining COVID safety.  On Saturday, July 11th they plan to open an Archery range, BB range for Cub Scouts and a rifle range for Scouts BSA.

As we reopen our Scout Camps, for this and other organized weekends units and Scouting families can make a campsite reservation for the day or the weekend.  Campsites rent for $15 per night and you can enjoy up to three nights.  Link or more details on making a campsite reservation

When you arrive at Hidden Valley, please schedule a group time of not more than 10 Scouts per group.   Scouts will be given a camp map and a list of any other activities during the day.  Pay your range fee of $5.00 per Scout BSA and $2.00 per Cub Scout. Have your group wash their hands before going to range.  Wait at the gate wearing a mask for your group’s safety briefing.  Follow all the directions from Shooting Sports instructors, participants will practice social distance from each other on the range.  All equipment used will be sanitized between participants and groups.
