Join us for Program Launch 2022

We need “All Hands on Deck” to make the 2022-23 Scouting year the best year that it can possibly be!  To help get your unit prepared for the 2022-23 Scouting year we would like to invite you to attend our 2022 Program Launch at Camp Tuckahoe on June 1, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.  

Program Launch is open to adult volunteers and parents in the New Birth of Freedom Council.  This year’s event will be an in-person event that will include training sessions and the return of in-person vendors.  Units are welcome to bring between 1 and 5 members to participate in the information gathering sessions and to visit our vendors.  

The 2022 Program Launch Schedule:

• 6:30 pm – Registration Opens
• 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm – Vendor Tables are Open
• 7:00 pm – Main Session in the Dining Hall
• 7:45 pm – Main Session Concludes
• 8:00 pm – Break out Sessions
  • Option 1 – Parent Recruitment and Engagement
  • Option 2 – How to Plan Your Annual Program Year
  • Option 3 – Making Cub Scout Recruitment Easy, Fun, and Cost Effective
• 8:30 pm – Break out Sessions Conclude

This year, in addition to our community partners, we will have booths with information and volunteers to talk with you about:

• National Jamboree 
• Fall Recruitment (Check your BeAScout Pin while you are at Program Launch!)
• Scoutbook
• Camping
• Training Opportunities
• And more!

Though we won’t have dinner, we will be providing snacks to give you a taste of what is in store for the 2022 Popcorn and Nuts Sale!
