The Camping Department has started interviewing applicants for the 2023 summer camping season! The New Birth of Freedom Council is currently seeking the following seasonal staff positions for Camp Tuckahoe and Hidden Valley Scout Reservation. Food service staff are not required to live at the camp. Room and board are included. All positions start in early June Camp Tuckahoe ends in mid-August and Hidden Valley ends at the end of July
Program Director and Business Manager – Minimum age: 21
Aquatics Director at Camp Tuckahoe or Hidden Valley Scout Reservation
Minimum age: 21 years old
Lifeguard at Camp Tuckahoe or Hidden Valley Scout Reservation
Minimum age: 15 years old
Must be BSA or Red Cross Certified.
Health Officer and Shooting Sports Director at Camp Tuckahoe or Hidden Valley Scout Reservation
Minimum age: 21 years old
Health Officers must have EMT, LPN, RN, LVN, or Paramedic Certification.
Program Staff: STEM, Nature, Handicraft, Archery, Scoutcraft, Waterfront, and Climbing at Camp Tuckahoe or Hidden Valley Scout Reservation Minimum age: 15 and up years old
Program Directors: STEM, Nature, Handicraft, Archery, Scoutcraft, Waterfront, and Climbing at Camp Tuckahoe or Hidden Valley Scout Reservation Minimum age: 18 and up years old
Support Staff: Kitchen Staff, and Trading Post Staff, Office Clerk, at Camp Tuckahoe or Hidden Valley Scout Reservation
Minimum age: 15 years old
Counselor In Training at Camp Tuckahoe or Hidden Valley
Minimum age: 14 years old
