Archery Instructor Certification Courses

To register for an online Archery Level One Instructor Certification course:

Minimum Age: 15 (A student who is 14 years old and within 30 days of his or her 15^th birthday may take the Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification online course.  However, the student must turn 15 years of age prior to completion of the practical course.)

• Go to the Archery Level One Online Website
• Follow the on-screen prompts

OR…

• “Log In” to your USA Archery Membership Services Account at sport80.com
  Note: you don’t have to click “Join Now” USA Archery Membership is not required for Level 1 certification. (If you don’t have a USA Archery account yet, you will be able to click “Create Account” to log in.)
• Click on your Personal Account.
• Click Courses on the far-left side of the screen.
• In the menu of courses, search for “USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Online Course.”
• Click “Enter.”
• After reading the course information, scroll down and click “Next.”
• Click “Add New Entry.”
• Click the green Add button next to the appropriate name and then click “Next.”
• Proceed through the registration form and “Checkout.”

To register for an online Archery Level Two Instructor Certification course:

Prior to registering for Level 2 courses, participants must have current U.S. Center for SafeSport Certification ($20), current USA Archery Background Screen ($25 to $35) and current USA Archery or National Field Archery membership ($70 per year). (Fees may vary.)

Note: Level 1 certification is NOT a prerequisite for Level 2.

Minimum Age: 18 (A student within 30 days of his or her 18^th birthday may take the online course, however, they must turn 18 before completing the practical course.)

• Go to the Archery Level Two Online Website
• Follow the on-screen prompts

OR…

• “Log In” to your USA Archery Membership Services Account at sport80.com
  Note: If you are not a USA Archery member click “Join Now” USA Archery Membership is required for Level 2 certification. (You can click “Create Account” on this page if you don’t already have one.)
• Click on your Personal Account
• Click “Courses” on the far-left side of the screen
• In the menu of courses, search for “USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Online Course”
• Click “Enter.”
• After reading the course information, scroll down and click “Next.”
• Click “Add New Entry.”
• Click the green “Add” button next to the appropriate name and then click “Next.”
• Proceed through the registration form and “Checkout.”

Please ensure you are signing up for the correct course!

To access the online course:

• Return to or “Log In” to your Personal Account at sport80.com.
• Click on “Members” on the far-left side of the screen.
• Click on your Profile Picture
• Scroll down and select “Access USA Archery Education Hub.”

You will be automatically directed to the USA Archery Education Hub where you can complete your online course.

Includes Range Set-Up and Safety, Outfitting a Class with Equipment, Teaching the National Training System Steps of Shooting Recurve Bows, Teaching the First Archery Class, Introduction to Coaching Techniques, and a comprehensive Review Session.

Certification lasts for three years from the date of the course completion!

To register for a New Birth of Freedom Council Level One Practical Course:

• Select one of the registration buttons above
• Follow the on-screen prompts

OR…

• “Log In” to your USA Archery Membership Services Account at sport80.com
• Click on your Personal Account.
• Click “Courses” on the far-left side of the screen.
• In the menu, search for “New Birth of Freedom Council Level 1 Practical Course.”
  • Be sure to select the date you wish to attend.
• Click “Enter.”
• After reading the course information, scroll down and click “Next.”
• Click “Add New Entry.”
• Click the green “Add” button next to the appropriate name and then click “Next.”
• Proceed through the registration form and Checkout.
