David L. O’Neil has compiled a truly impressive Scouting resume dating back to the 1960s. At the unit level, he has served as an Assistant Scoutmaster and has also served as a crew advisor and committee member.
Dave has also been involved in Susquehanna Trail District’s commissioner service, serving as a unit commissioner, roundtable commissioner, and assistant district commissioner. For his efforts in helping to support strong units, Dave received the Distinguished Commissioner Service Award in 2012.
You’ll also find Dave involved as an instructor in various training courses, as a Friend of Scouting campaign presenter and, in general, helping out wherever he can.
A school bus driver for F&S Transportation, Dave is also a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow and has been extremely active as a member and adult adviser in the lodge for many years.
