A father of two Eagle Scout sons, Hayden and Nathan, Jan Wagner began his service as a Scouting volunteer as a Tiger Cub parent with Pack 37 in York in 2001 and again with Pack 150 in York in 2004. Jan went on to serve as a Den Leader and Webelos Den Leader for Pack 150 between 2005 and 2008.
Jan also volunteered as a Committee Member for Troop 150 in York from 2006 to 2014. Jan has also served as a Merit Badge Counselor and was the District Chairman for the Heritage Trails District from 2012 to 2014.
Jan joined the New Birth of Freedom Council’s Executive Board in 2008 and presently serves as Vice President for Fund Development where he provides volunteer leadership to all of the Council’s fund raising efforts.
In his professional life, Jan is presently the President of Wagman Construction in York. Jan is a member of the Board of Directors for the Keystone Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors and is Vice Chair of the Civil Engineering Program Advisory Board at York College of Pennsylvania. Jan is also a board member and Past President of the Engineering Society of York.
Jan has also been a member of the Rotary Club of York since 2017.
