Scouting’s premier national event returns July 22–31, 2026, and we want to know if you want to be part of it! The 2026 Scouting America National Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia will bring together thousands of Scouts and leaders from across the country for an unforgettable 10-day adventure.
Scouts – please let us know you’re interested by completing our interest survey so we can reserve the right number of participant spots.
What Is the National Jamboree?
Often called “Jambo” or “NSJ,” the National Jamboree is a once-every-four-years experience unlike anything else in Scouting. Since 1937, it’s been the ultimate celebration of our movement—with action, learning, leadership, and fun packed into one life-changing event.
At the Jamboree, you’ll experience:
- Stadium shows with thousands of Scouts
- Mount Jack hikes and rugged outdoor challenges
- Pioneer village, STEM activities, zip lines, climbing, and more
- Hands-on leadership development and team-building
- New friendships and lifelong memories

Estimated Cost and What’s Included
We estimate the total cost for the 2026 Jamboree to be $2,000–$2,500 per participant. This includes:

- Pre-Jamboree training and shakedown trips
- All programming and activities at the Summit
