The Mechanicsburg Service Center will be closed for the following holidays in 2026:

- Monday, January 19 – Martin Luther King Day
- Monday, February 16 – President’s Day
- Friday, April 3 – Good Friday
- Monday, May 25 – Memorial Day
- Friday, June 19 – Juneteenth
- Friday, July 3 – Independence Day
- Monday, September 7 – Labor Day
- Thursday, November 26 – Thanksgiving
- Friday, November 27 – Thanksgiving
- Thursday, December 24 – Christmas Eve
- Friday, December 25 – Christmas
- Friday, January 1, 2027 – New Year’s Day
If inclement weather or another emergency causes a service center delay or closure, the Council will announce it on its Facebook page and website. In addition, all weather-related delays or closures are reported to ABC 27, CBS 21, Fox 43, and WGAL 8 for their delay and closure listings.
