Our camps offer exciting programs and events all year long, giving Scouts great opportunities to explore the outdoors, build new skills, and create unforgettable memories. From service opportunities to skill-building workshops to family-friendly activities, there’s always something happening. Join us to keep the adventure going all year!
Family Fishing Days
Family Fishing Day is a biannual event, with the spring fishing day at Hidden Valley on April 18 and the fall fishing day at Camp Tuckahoe on September 12.
Cub Scouts learn basic fishing skills and conservation, while Scouts BSA work on Fishing, Fly Fishing, and Fish & Wildlife Management merit badges. Scouts can also earn Complete Angler Award credit by helping teach others.
Cub Carnival
The Cub Scout Carnival combines classic camp activities with carnival-style fun for a day of excitement and friendly competition, featuring Cub World, BB and archery shooting, bounce houses, games, races, and hands-on activities.
Halloween Day
Every year, Camp Tuckahoe hosts Halloween Day, where Scouts and their families can enjoy fun, Halloween-themed activities.
Come out to Camp Tuckahoe October 24 for Halloween fun!
Ranger Work Days
Ranger work days are a fantastic opportunity to support your local Scout camps! It’s the perfect way to help maintain our camps while teaching your Scouts the value of service.
The Hidden Valley Work Day is the first Saturday of every month, and the Camp Tuckahoe Work Day is the third Saturday of every month.
Wilderness Survival Weekend
Our Wilderness Survival Merit Badge Weekend at Hidden Valley is a two-night campout where Scouts learn essential survival skills through hands-on training. Scouts build and sleep in their own shelters, prepare meals at camp, and complete merit badge requirements. Those who already have the badge are welcome to volunteer and help teach skills.
