Ranger Work Days are mini beaver days to keep council property maintenance on track. Unless camp is closed, Hidden Valley days will be the first Saturday of every month and Camp Tuckahoe days will be the third Saturday of every month. They are for individuals or units. Projects can include construction projects, painting, cleaning, tent repair, etc. Projects are available for any skill level. All adults in attendance must have PA clearances.
Attendees will meet at the shop at 8 AM for a brief meeting and project assignments. Work will usually conclude around 4 PM. Participants are not required to attend all day. Lunch will be provided. Those needing dietary accommodations are encouraged to contact the ranger ahead of time but please be aware, we may not be able to accommodate all needs during the off-season.
Please reach out to our Facilities Manager when you plan on attending a work day to let us know you are coming and to help coordinate service projects. Our Facilities Manager, Josh Nimmerichter, can be reached at josh.nimmerichter@scouting.org.
Thank you for supporting the New Birth of Freedom Council camps!
