Nestled near Dillsburg, PA, on the York and Cumberland County border, Camp Tuckahoe has been a premier destination for Scouts since 1948. Spanning 361 acres of scenic wooded hills, this year-round and summer camp masterfully blends classic Scout traditions with modern adventures.

Top-Notch Facilities for Unforgettable Experiences

  • Air-Conditioned Dining Hall:  Seats up to 500, ensuring mealtime comfort.
  • 186,000-Gallon Swimming Pool:  Crystal-clear waters with adjacent shower facilities.
  • Cub World:  A dedicated area of camp featuring a large pavilion, activity field, archery and BB ranges, a frontier fort, medieval castle, pirate ship, mountaintop mine, and nature tree house.
  • Memory Lake: Perfect for canoeing, rowing, kayaking, pedal boats, stand-up paddleboarding, and fishing.
  • Climbing and Zipline: A 38-foot climbing tower and a 700-foot zipline over Memory Lake add thrills to the camp experience.

Tuckahoe has cultivated a strong summer camping tradition for decades, with tens of thousands of Scouts benefiting from its programs. The camp offers a secure, well-staffed environment where Scouts of all ages can advance, build character, and develop citizenship.

Summer Camp Adventures

Tuckahoe hosts summer camp programs for Scouts of all ages, including:

  • Cub Scout Camp – A three-day, two-night experience designed for Tiger, Wolf, and Bear Scouts.
  • Webelos/AOL Camp – A five-day, four-night experience for rising Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts.
  • Pack CampThis new program is for rising Wolf, Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light Scouts. For Wolf and Bear Scouts, it is a three-day, two-night program, with Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts having the option to stay two additional days and nights for specialized programs.
  • Scouts BSA Camp – Tuckahoe offers three sessions of weeklong Scouts BSA Camp.
  • Family Camp – a fun-filled July 4th weekend for all Scouting families.

Year-Round Opportunities

Tuckahoe’s offerings extend beyond summer. With eight cabins available for cold-weather stays, it’s an ideal base for units exploring the nearby Gettysburg Heritage Trails, Ski Roundtop, or Hersheypark.

The camp also offers scenic tent camping and hosts the popular Halloween Day program for Cub Scouts each October, drawing hundreds of families.
