Service Center and Scout Shop Closed for Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 20

On Monday, January 20, the Mechanicsburg Center will be closed to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Day. The Mechanicsburg Scout Shop will also be closed that day.

Dr. King grew up in Atlanta, and from age 11-13, he was a Boy Scout in Troop 151, which met at Ebenezer Baptist Church. It’s a fact that should make Scouts everywhere remarkably proud.

You can read more about Dr. King’s time as a Scout at the Bryan on Scouting blog.
