Ron Gardner is Scout Executive and CEO of the New Birth of Freedom Council, serving in that role since April 2010 following the merger of the Keystone Area Council and York-Adams Area Council.

Before assuming his current position, Ron served as Scout Executive for the York-Adams Area Council since June 1997. He has been a career Scouter since September 1983, serving in various roles for councils headquartered in Pittsburgh, Valley Forge, and Philadelphia.

Ron is an alumnus of The Pennsylvania State University, with a bachelor of science degree in management and a master’s degree in business administration.
