Enjoy Outdoor Experiences All Year Round
[caption id="attachment_205" align="alignright" width="300" caption="Thunderbird Lodge"][/caption] Situated on 830+ acres in Perry County, Hidden Valley Scout Reservation has been in operation since 1927 and offers a premier year-round cabin camping facilities for the use of Scout Troop and Packs, as well as church groups, corporate retreats and other organizations in south-central Pennsylvania. Hidden Valley has eight winter lodges, each heated by a propane furnace and a wood stove. Hidden Valley – A Great Place to Camp
Situated on 830+ acres near Loysville, PA, Hidden Valley has been in operation since 1927. With an abundance of facilities for both summer and year-round camping opportunities for your unit’s use, Hidden Valley is a great place to camp all year long.
With a year-round heated and air-conditioned dining hall with seating for 300 and nine cabins of various sizes available for rental, Hidden Valley also features a shower building that’s open year-round along with a well-stocked trading post. Sherman’s Creek runs through Hidden Valley, providing lots of great fishing spots for everyone.
Boy Scout summer campers will be able to select from a wide variety of merit badge offerings, with older Scouts also being able to test their skills on Hidden Valley’s impressive climbing tower. There’s also a terrific first-year camper program designed to help newer Boy Scouts get a fast start along the advancement trail.

Hidden Valley Fishing Derby
Hidden Valley Scout Reservation would like to invite Scouts, and their leaders to come for a special fishing event April 14, 2012. Cub Scouts can work on the Fishing Belt Loop and Sports Pin; and everyone can enjoy a day of family.
Boy Scouts can complete requirements for their fishing or fly fishing merit badges and everyone can enjoy a day of family and fun.
