Hidden Valley Scout Reservation

The Hershey Dining Hall has seating for up to 300 people.

Situated on 830+ acres near Loysville, PA in Perry County, with the scenic Sherman’s Creek and it’s exciting fishing opportunities running through it, Hidden Valley has been in operation since 1927. It is one of four camps operated by the New Birth of Freedom Council.

With an abundance of facilities for both summer and year-round camping opportunities for your unit’s use, Hidden Valley is a great place to camp all year long.

With a year-round heated and air-conditioned dining hall with seating for 300 and nine cabins of various sizes available for rental, Hidden Valley also features a shower building that’s open year-round along with a well-stocked trading post.

Scouts BSA summer campers will be able to select from a wide variety of merit badge offerings, with older Scouts also being able to test their skills on Hidden Valley’s impressive climbing tower. There’s also a terrific first-year camper program designed to help newer Boy Scouts get a fast start along the advancement trail.

Hidden Valley offers five weeks of Scouts BSA summer camp each year.

For Scouting units and non-stop groups looking for year-round outdoor opportunities, Hidden Valley also offers a wide variety of comfortable cabins, with capacities ranging from 10 to 65 people.
