Camp Hidden Valley

Since 1927, Camp Hidden Valley has welcomed Scouts to Perry County, along Sherman’s Creek near Loysville.
Bring your unit for a cabin weekend or tent-camping adventure — and build skills, friendships, and memories together throughout the year.

Make Hidden Valley your unit’s home for a weekend of outdoor skills, shared meals, and time together. Choose a cabin, shelter, or tent site to suit your group.
A full-time camp ranger and trained weekend Campmasters help with facility needs, programs, and emergencies during your stay.
Rotary Lodge & camp cabins
Rotary Lodge sleeps up to 65. Eight cabins offer options for groups as small as 10, with indoor toilets and sinks. Showers are available in the year-round shower building. Cabin heating is available at an additional cost. Lodges include bunks with mattresses, tables, benches, a refrigerator, and a stove.
Crissy’s Place
A central lodge and four cabins offer another setting for your group’s stay.
Olewine Village
Seven cabins provide a rustic camping option, with water nearby at the year-round shower building.
Kiwanis I & II Adirondack shelters
Two shelter campsites give your unit a base for an outdoor weekend.
Tent campsites
Pitch your tents in one of ten campsites, cook together, and put new outdoor skills to work before settling in for a night under the stars.
Hershey Dining Hall
A heated and air-conditioned dining hall seats up to 300 and includes a commercial kitchen.
Shower house & trading post
The year-round shower building provides showers for campers. A well-stocked trading post offers camp supplies and souvenirs.
Pavilions & chapel
Pavilions provide gathering space, and the camp chapel offers a place for reflection.

Plan your own unit outing
Set your own pace with a weekend built around your Scouts’ interests. Reserve a place to stay, then plan hiking, fishing, outdoor skills, or a camp service project.
Join a Council program
Build leadership at National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) each June, join a district camporee, or try a winter Klondike Derby. Find dates and registration on the Council calendar.

A camp setting for your group.
Schools, churches, nonprofits, and other community groups are welcome to inquire about a Hidden Valley rental. Tell us about your dates, group size, and plans so the Council can help you explore suitable spaces and pricing.
Non-Scout groups must arrange rentals directly with the Council and cannot reserve through Black Pug. Groups provide or arrange their own meals; Council meal service is not offered.
