We are saddened to share that Andy Mahalchick, Camp Ranger at Hidden Valley, passed away on April 10 at the age of 64.
Andy joined our staff in November 2023, but his connection to Hidden Valley began long before that as a dedicated and longtime volunteer. He cared deeply about the camp and the Scouts and leaders it serves, and his impact will be felt for years to come.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Andy’s family and his many friends during this difficult time.
The viewing and funeral service for Andy will be on Monday, April 20 at Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 357 South Harrisburg Street, Oberlin, Steelton, PA 17113.
Viewing is from 10 AM to 12 Noon, followed by the funeral at 12 Noon.
