Halloween Day: Liberty, Legends, & Lanterns

The pumpkins are ready, the trail is haunted, and the fun is about to begin. Halloween Day is your family’s ticket to a day (and night) of Scouting adventure – no experience necessary, just a costume and a sense of adventure!
The cost is $15 per youth participant (Scout, sibling, or non-Scout) and $10 per adult. Scouts and siblings will be able to participate fully in all activities. The cost covers supplies and materials for the day as well as dinner. All payments are non-refundable & non-transferable.
Highlights of the day include:
- 🎯 Shooting Ranges: BB shooting, archery, and slingshots
- 🧶 Spooky Crafts: Walk away with some more swag than you arrived with.
- 💀 Festive Games: Plenty of activities to keep everyone active for hours.
- 🍎 Special Treats: Caramel apples, candy, and more.
- 🎃 Pumpkin Patch: Scouts can pick and carve their own pumpkins!
- 👻 Costume Contest: Dress to impress for a chance to win a special prize!
- 🍔 Dinner: You don’t need to worry about food…we got you covered!
- 🌲 Haunted Trail: The spooky adventure begins after dinner!

Halloween Day isn’t just for our current Scouting families – it’s a perfect chance for anyone curious about Scouting to come see what it’s all about! Bring the whole family, join in the fun, and get a firsthand look at what makes Scouting special, no experience (or costume-making skills) required.
Not signed up with a Scouting unit yet? No problem…come first, ask questions, and if you like what you see, we’ll help you find a unit near you. Just head to beascout.org to search by zip code and connect with a local pack or troop.
Volunteer With Us?
We’d love your help making Halloween Day awesome! Adults and Scouts BSA Scouts are invited to volunteer for the day, helping run activities, staff stations, and keep the fun going for our Cub Scouts and their families.
Troops – Bring Your Whole Crew!
If your troop (or even part of your troop) wants to volunteer together to help run one or more activities, we’ll make it worth the trip! Reach out to Tyler Roman at tyler.roman@scouting.org, and we’ll set your troop up with a FREE campsite for the weekend. Lunch and dinner on Saturday are covered – just bring your energy and Scout spirit!
