Spring is upon us, and that means it’s time to dust off those tents and get those sleeping bags out of the closet.

The 2026 Keystone Capital District Spring Camporee will be held from April 24th to 26th.

This year’s camporee offers a perfect blend of challenging and fun activities that will engage Scouts of all ages. Participants will navigate through a series of stations designed to test their skills, teamwork, and resourcefulness.

In addition to the exciting activities included with every registration, the Spring Camporee will also feature the traditional Order of the Arrow (OA) call-out ceremony. This solemn and revered event recognizes Scouts who have been elected by their peers as those who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. It is a moment of honor and pride for both the inductees and their troops.

Members of the Order of Arrow should pack their sashes for an Arrowmen-only gathering.

Registration fees are $8 for Scouts, $6 for Webelos for the day only, $5 for troop adults, and just $2.50 for event volunteers.  Late fees after April 10, 2026.

For more information, contact District Activities Chair Michael Reeder at (717) 979-4901.

The 2026 Spring Camporee is more than just a camping trip; it will be an adventure that creates lasting memories and strengthens the bonds of Scouting. Whether you are a seasoned Scout or new to the experience, this event promises something special for everyone.

So, pack your gear, prepare for an incredible weekend, and join us for the 2026 Keystone Capital District Spring Camporee. It is an event you won’t want to miss!
