Centennial Camporee Cabin Lottery Overview

In recognition of Camp Hidden Valley’s 100th anniversary (1927–2027), the New Birth of Freedom Council is offering a Centennial Cabin Lottery. Eligible units will have an opportunity to secure lodging for the Centennial Camporee, scheduled for May 21–23, 2027.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the lottery, a unit must complete the following requirements at Camp Hidden Valley during the eligibility period of September 2026 through April 2027:

• Off-Season Camping: Participate in at least one full weekend of camping at Camp Hidden Valley.

• Camp Stewardship: Complete an authorized service project during the unit’s stay. The project must support camp maintenance, preservation, or preparations for the Centennial Camporee.

• Project Certification: Submit the Project Certification Form documenting completion of both the weekend stay and the service project.

Qualifying camping and service activities must be completed by April 30, 2027. Units will have until May 1, 2027, to submit the Project Certification Form.

Participating Lodges and Cabins

Units selected through the lottery will be assigned to one of the following facilities:

• Rotary

• Amp

• Herbert

• Western Perry

• Ritter

• K1 Adirondacks

• K2 Adirondacks

• Stockade Shelters

Fees

Units receiving lodging through the lottery will not be charged an additional cabin or site rental fee for the Camporee weekend. Standard per-person event registration fees will still apply.

Staff Housing Exclusions

West Camp cabins are not included in the lottery. These facilities will be reserved exclusively for volunteer event staff.
