Camp. Serve. Celebrate. Give your unit a chance to stay in a lodge, cabin, or shelter during the Hidden Valley Centennial Camporee, May 21–23, 2027.
To celebrate Camp Hidden Valley’s 100th anniversary, the New Birth of Freedom Council is offering a cabin lottery for units that spend a weekend at camp and complete an authorized service project.
Two Deadlines to Remember
April 30, 2027: Complete your qualifying weekend stay and service project.
May 1, 2027: Submit your Project Certification Form.
How to Qualify
Complete all three steps. Qualifying camping and service activities must take place at Camp Hidden Valley between September 2026 and April 2027.
- Spend a full weekend at camp.
Participate in at least one full weekend of camping at Camp Hidden Valley during the eligibility period. - Complete an authorized service project.
During your unit’s stay, complete a project that supports camp maintenance, preservation, or preparations for the Centennial Camporee. - Submit your certification.
Use the Project Certification Form to document both your weekend stay and your completed service project. Submit the form by May 1, 2027.

What Selected Units Receive
Units selected through the lottery will be assigned lodging for the Camporee weekend with no additional cabin or site rental fee.
Standard per-person Camporee registration fees still apply. The lottery covers the additional lodging fee, not event admission.

Staff housing: West Camp cabins are reserved exclusively for volunteer event staff and are not included in the lottery.
Key Dates

- October 1, 2026: Camporee unit registration opens through Tentaroo.
- April 30, 2027: Qualifying camping and service activities must be completed.
- May 1, 2027: Project Certification Form deadline.
- May 21–23, 2027: Hidden Valley Centennial Camporee.
