Each year, the New Birth of Freedom Council’s Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner brings together the region’s business and community leaders, Scout leaders, Scouting families, volunteers, and friends of Scouting to celebrate one of the most significant achievements in a young person’s life—the attainment of the Eagle Scout rank.

The 17th Annual Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at the Hershey Lodge.

This year, we will proudly recognize more than 150 members of the Class of 2026 who have earned Scouting America’s highest rank. Achieved by only about 4% of all Scouts, Eagle Scout represents years of perseverance, leadership, service, personal growth, and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

Where Today’s Leaders Meet Tomorrow’s Leaders

The Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner is much more than an awards celebration. It is one of the region’s premier gatherings of today’s and tomorrow’s leaders, bringing nearly 700 people together in one room to celebrate achievement, build relationships, and invest in the future of our communities.

For business and community leaders, the evening offers a unique opportunity to meet the young men and women who will become tomorrow’s employees, entrepreneurs, volunteers, civic leaders, and community builders. Eagle Scouts have demonstrated the very qualities organizations value most—leadership, character, initiative, perseverance, and a commitment to service.

The Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner is also the largest annual fundraising event supporting local Scouting through the New Birth of Freedom Council.
