Spring Camporee

Lash it. Build it. Conquer it.

The Battlefield and Heritage Trails Districts are proud to present Bridge to Adventure – a full weekend of pioneering challenges, teamwork, and Scout skills that will put every patrol and den to the test!

From April 24–26, 2026, Scouts BSA troops, Venturing crews, Sea Scout ships, and Cub Scout packs will gather at the Lisburn Community Fire Company in to prove they have what it takes. Can your patrol build a bridge, raise a flagpole, and transport a can of “nitroglycerin” without spilling a drop? Can your den construct a raft that holds the weight? This is your chance to find out.

What’s in store: Troops, Crews, and Ships will work through 12 hands-on stations – from ladder building and rope making to crossing the swamp and an eight-knot contest – before putting everything on the line in Saturday’s camp-wide Chippewa Kitchen pioneering build. Cub Scouts get their own action-packed program featuring catapult building, A-frame races, and a popsicle stick bridge competition where the strongest bridge wins!

Why you don’t want to miss this:

  • Compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards at the camp-wide activity
  • Earn an exclusive America 250 commemorative event patch
  • Enjoy a Saturday campfire, worship services, and an OA social
  • Camp side-by-side with Scouts from across both districts in true Jamboree style

Registration is just $10 per person – and it covers your program, supplies, awards, and patch. Registration closes April 16 on Tentaroo – don’t leave your Scouts without a spot!

The bridge is waiting. Will your patrol cross it?
