Placing Your Popcorn & Nuts Order
The Show & Sell phase of the popcorn and nuts sale will begin the weekend of August 9. This is where Scouts interact with the community in front of storefronts selling products. Ordering will open on July 7, and all traditional Show & Sell orders must be placed by July 20. Please refer to the Guidebook for further details. Show & Sell Community Partners
The New Birth of Freedom Council has partnered with Rutter’s, Karns, and Capital City Mall to offer Units an opportunity to sell popcorn and nuts in a coordinated effort.
Registration time slots are now open for units to sell at these three locations. Here is some important information to know when signing up.
Karns and The Capital City Mall: Units may sign up for only one timeslot until July 11. On July 12, units may claim any remaining spots on a first-come, first-served basis. Karns Code of Conduct: https://tinyurl.com/f6dmz9td
Rutter’s: Units are restricted to only 1 sign-up. Units must submit a 2025 Fundraiser Request Form and submit it within 5 days of making your reservation: https://tinyurl.com/3p4tzfk7
By following these guidelines, we ensure that all our Units have a fair and equitable chance to select a location and timeslot. This also helps us maintain positive relationships with our partners who generously allow our Scouting family to sell products at their businesses. For Units that have selected multiple locations during this period, their first choice will be secured, while any additional selections will be released and made available to other Units. Consignment Orders
The Consignment Program is a wonderful opportunity for Units that want to add a Show & Sell component to their sale, either for the first time or with limited success. We offer one prepackaged top-selling product mix valued. We encourage consignment units to schedule Show & Sells during the weekends of August 9–10, 16–17, 23–24, and 30–31. Units may schedule multiple requests but may not have more than one consignment out at a time.
Please complete a separate request for each consignment.
Consignments can be picked up at Camp Tuckahoe Service Center on Thursday or Friday each week. Packages can be retained for 11 or 12 days (depending on whether you pick them up on Thursday or Friday) and must be returned on the Monday after your second weekend. Units can return 100% of their unsold consignment package if it is returned by its due date. If you cannot pick them up or return them within these time frames, please contact your district kernel or district executive.
