The Friends of Hidden Valley is a committee of the New Birth of Freedom Council to promote, support, and enhance the operations at Hidden Valley Scout Reservation, with special regard for its chapel ministry. We work closely with council staff and other volunteers to accomplish our mission in various ways, working around camp, preserving our Scouting heritage, fundraising, and publicizing all that Hidden Valley has to offer.
We organize opportunities for active Scouters, Scouting alumni, and interested community members to offer their input, and we help to make their ideas happen. Friends of Hidden Valley have helped to install and renovate many of our camp facilities, sponsored programs for youth and adults, and fostered a feeling of fellowship that helped to make Hidden Valley feel like home.
