The Camping Department is thrilled to announce that we have commenced the interview process for the upcoming 2025 summer camping season! The New Birth of Freedom Council seeks enthusiastic individuals to join our team in various seasonal staff positions at Camp Tuckahoe. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a passionate newcomer, we have a place for you.
Available Positions:
Program Director and Business Manager
– Minimum Age: 21
Aquatics Director
– Minimum Age: 21
Lifeguard
– Minimum Age: 15
– Must be BSA or Red Cross Certified
Health Officer and Shooting Sports Director
– Minimum Age: 21
– Must have EMT, LPN, RN, LVN, or Paramedic Certification
Program Staff
– Minimum Age: 15
– Roles: STEM, Nature, Handicraft, Archery, Scoutcraft, Waterfront, and Climbing
Program Directors
– Minimum Age: 18
– Roles: STEM, Nature, Handicraft, Archery, Scoutcraft, Waterfront, and Climbing
Support Staff
– Minimum Age: 15
– Roles: Kitchen Staff, Trading Post Staff, and Office Clerk
Counselor In Training
– Minimum Age: 14
All positions start in early June, with Camp Tuckahoe concluding in mid-August. Not all staff members are required to live at the camp, and room and board are included.
