The Mechanicsburg Service Center and Scout Shop will be closed on Monday, September 2, for the Labor Day holiday. The Scout Shop will be open for regular hours on Saturday, August 31.
While Labor Day is often thought of as the unofficial end of summer and celebrated with parades and cookouts, Labor Day became a federal holiday in 1894 and pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers.
