In memory of Christine Geesaman, her Family has made a generous gift of $125,000 to provide a memorial for the continuing contributions of their daughter “Crissy” who served as a Cub Scout Leader, Council Trainer, and Camp Staffer for various councils and camps over numerous years.

The New Birth of Freedom Council is honored to be a part of making their vision of “Crissy’s Place” a reality. The new facilities to be constructed at Hidden Valley Scout Reservation will consist of four sleeping cabins that will house 4-6 Scouts and a shower building with a small pavilion. Some of the ways the new facility may be used include providing accommodations for Council Training Events, and housing for female summer camp staffers.
