The Mechanicsburg and York Service Centers will be closed for the following holidays in 2019:

- Monday, January 21 – Martin Luther King Day
- Monday, February 18 – President’s Day
- Friday, April 19 – Good Friday
- Monday, May 27 – Memorial Day
- Thursday, July 4 – Independence Day
- Monday, September 2 – Labor Day
- Monday, October 14 – Columbus Day
- Thursday, November 28 – Thanksgiving
- Friday, November 29 – Thanksgiving
- Tuesday, December 24 – Christmas Eve
- Wednesday, December 25 – Christmas
- Wednesday, January 1, 2020 – New Year’s Day
If inclement weather or other emergency causes a delay or closure of either service center, these will be announced on the council’s Facebook page and website. In addition, all weather-related delays or closures are reported to ABC 27, CBS 21, Fox 43 and WGAL 8 for their delays/closing listings.
